Our Owners Direct / Homeaway directory listing now charges guests a 12% 'booking fee' for reservations made through their website to 'enhance the customer experience and provide greater security'. There was previously no charge and our annual listing fee with them stays the same. Guests using the CONTACT form above to enquire about availability or make a booking are not charged a supplementary fee. This info is provided to allow you to make an informed choice.
Our rates include:
- Bedlinen* & towels, handsoap, toilet rolls, dishcloth/T-towel pack
- Electricity (includes central heating supplement Oct - April)
- Changeover preparation / clean**
* We provide freshly-laundered pillow and mattress protectors at every changeover.
** The cottage is fully prepared before arrival but we do ask guests to leave the cottage clean and tidy before leaving

Winter heating supplement
Central heating runs from 1st Jan to 28th April and from 6th October onwards. Our rates for these periods now include the £55 weekly heating supplement charged 'at cost' for the additional electricity consumption of the electric boiler. We apologise for this expensive necessity - the Silverdale area has no gas connection!

Our weekly rentals run from Saturday to Saturday.
Short breaks of minimum 3 days may be possible within 2 weeks of start date only - please enquire. We regret that Friday start dates are not possible in mid or high season.
For Xmas and New Year bookings, start / finish days are flexible, please enquire. If, within 1 week of your arrival and we have no bookings either the week before or after your holiday it may be possible to add extra nights - i.e starting on Friday night and/or departing on Sunday. We will let you know if this is possible.
